Monday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station that measured -8.1 C with 9 km/h winds out of the north, northeast contributing to a -13 wind chill.
So I think the worst of the wind is behind us. I think. Forecasters continue to call for 20 km/h winds today and tomorrow, but there are signs it may die down later this afternoon before it picks up again tomorrow. Either way, can’t be worse than yesterday. I half expected to look out my window Sunday and see Auntie Em and Toto flying around my backyard. Darn near tipped my shed over.
